Used to play guitar and sing with my Dad every Friday night until he passed away back in ’77. I bet he would have loved listening to Rockabilly radio. The great music here would have been right up his alley. The only this was close to this was listening to WWVA (Wheeling West Va.) on AM radio. we didn’t own a decent radio back then, so Dad and I would sometimes sit in his 1962 Cadillac with our guitars playing along to the music. Life was much simpler then, which is the reason I absolutely love Rockabilly radio. Kudos to all the D.J’s keeping this stuff aliveBob M. from Quebec Canada eh!

being born and raised in Nashville Tn. makes this station a real treat. i just stumbled upon it by accident. Now mind you I’m not that acclimated with rockabilly but I did grow up around a ton of country music people , most just starting or already a bit established …… like Johnny cash , kitty wells. when they were on tour as teenagers we were partying in their pools. Just a wonderful time ! I’ll have to track the origins of rockabilly but I’ll be a constant listener!
