Wayne hails from Lincolnshire in the UK.
He has been a presenter on a Lincoln City Radio for a few years with his RnR show.
He presentins a two hour show.
On June 4th 2025 Wayne is doing a Sponsored Climb of Sgurr Mhic Choinnich, commonly known as Inn Pinn, (An Inaccessible Pinnacle).
This is the most difficult of all the 282 Munros as you have to use ropes ascend it.
This is Located on the Isle Of Skye which is the most difficult one to climb.
The top of the Pinnacle stands at 3,234 feet above sea level,
Munros are Scottish mountains reaching a height of over 3000ft.
There is a 3 mile uphill walk to the start.
This takes 4-6 hours, though he anticipates it taking a little longer!
It is one of the most difficult climbs in Scotland, used by mountaineers training for larger mountains throughout Europe. a 25k round with a steep ascent over very rocky terrain. This takes a whole day to achieve.
Wayne has always been a walker, but for this one he needs extra training due to the climb, so I’ve been attending the climbing wall at the Y.M.C.A. in Lincoln.
For further training he will attempt to climb Suilven in the Highlands in April.
